When applying for this visa, you must meet the following requirements:

• Genuinely seeking entry for a purpose which is permitted.

• Intend to leave the UK at the end of the visit

• Have sufficient funds to cover your costs

• Be able to explain where such funds are derived from

• Not intend to live in the UK for long periods

It takes on average 3-4 weeks for a decision to be made. There may be an option to purchase Priority decision, which means a decision can be made within 5 working days. This costs an extra £500.

A Standard Visitor Visa for six months costs £135. A Visitor Visa for medical reasons or as an Academic costs £234.

A 2 year visa cost’s £504. A 5 year visa costs £903. A 10 year visa costs £1,128.

This visa allows multiple entries, but only for 6 months per entry. It is also not residency, you cannot use NHS services and go to school, etc.
